Tajikistan hands over earlier held Kyrgyz border guard

AKIPRESS.COM - The situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is stable as of 10:00 AM of July 10, the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan said.
Following the talks between representatives of Border Services of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on July 9, the Kyrgyz border guard, who was held in attack of Tjaik border guards on Kyrgyz border squad, was handed over to Kyrgyzstan.
The border guard crossed the border into Kyrgyzstan at 00:55 of July 10 through Kairagach point.
His condition is satisfactory.
The Kyrgyz border guard was attacked by Tajik border guards on July 8 near Chashmagildan pass. The border guards from two sides exchanged fire. One serviceman of Kyrgyzstan was killed.
