AKIPRESS.COM - The son of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Finances and Economy, TDH news agency reported.
President Berdimuhamedov announced new duties of his son at the government meeting. Serdar Berdimuhamedov was earlier responsible for digitization at the post of Deputy Prime Minister. Since February 2021, he headed the Audit Chamber and was member of the Security Council. He has been relieved of these duties now.
On his new post Serdar Berdimuhamedov will hold a meeting on implementation of programs by government agencies, draft of public budget for the next year, investment program for 2022.
