Rahmon invites Aliyev to make official visit to Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a phone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The two leaders discussed relevant aspects of bilateral relations, especially trade and economic ties and noted a positive dynamics in bilateral trade for the last several years.
A special attention was paid to situation in Afghanistan.
Rahmon briefed Aliyev about the situation in northern provinces of Afghanistan bordering with Tajikistan and shared serious concerns about abrupt escalation of the situation on the southern borders of the CIS.
The President of Tajikistan invited President Aliyev to make official visit to Tajikistan at any time convenient for him. The dates of the visit will be negotiated through diplomatic channels.
