Investigation into loss of almost 1,000 doses of Sputnik V ongoing, Health Minister says

AKIPRESS.COM - Investigation into unfreezing of 994 doses of Sputnik V vaccine at the Family Medicine Center #2 is ongoing, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said at the meeting of the International Affairs, Defense and Security Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
Vaccines were spoiled after the freezer was turned off. Five workers of the Center were rebuked. Director of the United Family Medicine Center #1 Nurlan Galbaev was fired.
Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said earlier the leadership of the Family Medicine Center #2 may be required to compensate the caused damage.
