Kyrgyz government to offer almost 5,800 full-tuition scholarships this year

AKIPRESS.COM - The Kyrgyz government will offer 5,795 full-tuition scholarships to study in universities this year, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Nurlan Omurov said.
1,933 scholaships will be provided for teacher training departments, 506 for IT, 485 for medicine, 262 for culture.
50,000-70,000 students may be admitted upon payment of tuition.
4,131 grants will be offered to study in colleges.
Around 219,000 study in universities in Kyrgyzstan, the Deputy Education Minister said.
