1,650 coronavirus cases registered among children in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 1,650 children with coronavirus cases in total received treatment in hospitals across Kyrgyzstan, National Maternal and Child Health Care Center Director Gulzat Maimerova said.
Most of these hospitalizations were registered in Bishkek and Osh region, she said.
Distribution of cases by age:
- under 1 year - 16%
- between 1 year and 4 years - 31%
- between 5 and 15 years - 40.5%
- between 16 and 18 years - 11.5%.
495 coronavirus cases were registered among preschool children so far.
1,063 coronavirus cases were registered among schoolchildre (aged 7-17 years).
