Farab district in Turkmenistan locked down due to over 100 COVID-19 reportedly detected there

AKIPRESS.COM - Farab district in Lebap region was locked down due to more than 100 coronavirus cases detected there, turkmen.news reported.
The mandatory vaccination is carried out in Farab district since July 12.
Turkmenabad-Ashgabat train service was cancelled earlier due to deterioration of epidemiological situation.
Turkmen authorities insist no coronavirus cases were registered in the country.
According to unofficial reports, the country is having the third coronavirus wave. The first wave occurred in June-July 2020, the second lasted from the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021.
Police officers do not allow Farab residents to leave the district and openly explain restriction with the grown number of people infected with coronavirus infection.
