Azerbaijan donates AstraZeneca vaccine to Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Azerbaijan donated AstraZeneca vaccines to Tajikistan.
40,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine were airlifted from Azerbaijan to Dushanbe, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported.
The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Tajikistan and the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan.
The vaccines will be kept in a storage facility of the Ministry of Health and will be used for inoculation of population.
192,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine were brought to Tajikistan through COVAX program since March 2021.
300,000 doses of China's CoronaVac vaccine were delivered to Dushanbe from China as humanitarian aid.
Tajikistan plans to buy 3 million doses of coronavirus vaccine from ADB's grant.
