AKIPRESS.COM - 46-year-old Nazgul Isakova has died in Bishkek after vaccination against coronavirus infection.
She received the first dose of the vaccine at the Family Medicine Center No. 1 on July 19. The body temperature of the woman elevated then.
"She spent 2 days in bed. Her pressure fell to 30. She was then transported to a hospital. She died in the morning of July 22," the woman's relatives said and linked the woman's death with Sputnik V vaccine.
Bishkek Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery Hospital Vice Chief Bakyt Isakov told AKIpress Nazgul Isakova was brought to toxicology department with allergic reaction.
Deputy Health Minister Uluk-Bek Bekturganov confirmed Isakova received Sputnik V vaccine.
"We can't say now she died from vaccine. A commission is working. The results of autopsy are pending. All details will be studied. The cause of death was not established yet," the Deputy Health Minister said.
Nazgul Isakova arrived in Bishkek from Kara-Kul. She received vaccine in Bishkek.
The woman did not have any counterindications for vaccination, Family Center Deputy Director Choro Sataev said.
"Citizens are interviewed at each vaccination point prior to vaccination. Nazgul Isakova completed a questionnaire. Doctors asked respective questions, tested her blood pressure. She consented to vaccination. In the moment of vaccination, the woman did not have any counterindications. Everything was normal," the Deputy Director said.
The woman was given a notice with information on possible side effects after vaccination. "According to medical workers, her condition was satisfactory," Choro Sataev added.
