Residents of 27 households evacuated due to flooding danger in Karakol as river water level rises

AKIPRESS.COM - Owners of 27 houses were evacuated due to a rise in the water level of the Karakol River posing flooding threat to nearby houses, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said on July 13. Orchards and trees growing along the river have been uprooted, one bridge is in an emergency condition.
Work is underway to identify dangerous sections of the Karakol River.
The park located in Karakol is flooded. Karakol Civil Protection Service engineering equipment is being prepared for operation.
