AKIPRESS.COM - A branch of the Kazan Federal University will be opened in Kyrgyzstan. Such decision was made at the meeting of the Advisory Board of the University. The meeting of the Advisory Board was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic led by Vice Chief of President's Administration Jenishbek Asankulov.
President Rustam Minnikhanov noted importance of expansion of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in trade, economic, scientific, social spheres and added opening of the branch of the Kazan Federal University in Kyrgyzstan will help strengthening of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. President Minnikhanov asked the Advisory Board of the University to support this education project.
The Kazan Federal University is one of the oldest universities in Russia, which was founded in 1804.
