Athletes from Uzbekistan bring 500 cans of tinned pilaf to Tokyo Olympics

AKIPRESS.COM - Athletes from Uzbekistan brought pilaf and traditional flat bread to Tokyo Olympic Games, TASS reported.
"We brought tinned pilaf - Samarkand and traditional varieties, around 500 cans in total. We also brought around 200 flat bread and beef. We share with other athletes in Olympic village. For instance, we handed over some flat bread to Russian athletes," a member of the Uzbek delegation said.
71 athletes of the national team of Uzbekistan contest in the Games. Uzbek athletes have won two medals so far. Ulukbek Rashitov won gold in taekwondo, judoka Davlat Bobonov won bronze medal.
