1501 fires registered in Kyrgyzstan in H1

AKIPRESS.COM - 1501 fires were registered in Kyrgyzstan in the first 6 months of 2021, said Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Urmatbek Shamyrkanov. The fires killed 24 people and caused material damage in the amount of 370,064,000 soms.
Compared to 2020, the number of fires increased by 40.4%, the number of deaths and material losses as a result of the accident also increased. 45% of fires were registered in the residential sector.
