Kyrgyz and Afghan ambassadors in Russia discuss security situation in Central Asian region

Bishkek, Apr. 12, 2019. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Alikbek Jekshenkulov received Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Russian Federation Latif Bakhand at his request.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that a conversation took place during which the heads of diplomatic missions of the two countries exchanged views on the state of Kyrgyz-Afghan relations, as well as on the security situation in Central Asia and Afghanistan.
The sides noted the importance and necessity of developing bilateral relations between the two countries in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as cooperation in the field of security.
