Coalition of parliamentary majority recognizes report of Government for 2018 as satisfactory

The report of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic was presented by Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziev. According to data of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, economic growth is ensured by all sectors of the economy. Thus, in agriculture, the volume actually increased by 2.7%, construction - by 7.8%, and the services sector - by 2.1%.
The main result of 2018 was the preservation of positive dynamics of economic growth. Economic growth in 2018 surpassed the forecast figure by 0.7 percentage points. The volume of production compared with 2017 increased by 5.4%. Excluding enterprises for the development of the Kumtor deposit (148.4 billion soms), the physical volume was 107.3%. A positive contribution to the formation of GDP from industrial production is estimated at 1.0 percentage points, including enterprises developing the Kumtor deposit. The share of industry in the structure of GDP production was 18.6%.
During the discussion of this report, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh outlined socio-economic issues, raised issues of attracting investments in the republic, the implementation of large projects, etc. Besides, the issues of law enforcement and security, and countering corruption were also raised. The deputies paid special attention to the development of the regions of the republic.
The head of the Parliamentary Majority Coalition, Isa Omurkulov, stressed that the report of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018 will also be considered in the relevant Committees of the Jogorku Kenesh and parliamentary factions.
