Parliament considers introduction of $500 fee for car tinting

AKIPRESS.COM - The parliament is considering the introduction of a fee for tinting cars in the amount of $400-500 per car a year.
Deputy Prime Minister Zamir Askarov said at the parliament committee meeting on April 15 that the matter is raised taking into account lawmakers' proposal. "The relevant bill is being considered."
Prior to this, MP Torobai Zulpukarov proposed the ways of the country's budget replenishment and proposed to introduce fees for car tinting.
"If citizens can afford to pay, let's say $500, than they should be welcome to do so," said lawmaker.
Full car window tint is banned in Kyrgyzstan. The drivers violating this rule must pay 3,000 soms, legal entities - up to 13,000 soms.
