Tajikistan FM addresses High-Level Conference in Bucharest, meets with his Romanian counterpart

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with his Romanian counterpart Teodor Melescanu on April 15 on the margins of the High-Level Conference "Connectivity for sustainable development" in Bucharest.
They exchanged views on bilateral relations, collaboration on multilateral basis within the framework of international organizations and other subjects of mutual interest.
Muhriddin delivered a speech at the High-Level Conference, which addressed issues related to the new EU Strategy for Central Asia.
Muhriddin drew the attention of participants to the necessity to continuing mutually beneficial cooperation of the countries of the region with the European Union in order to enhance the economic, transit, transport, agriculture and energy potential of the countries of Central Asia, improve the investment climate and ensure sustainable development of the region.
