9-storey apartment building in Ashgabat started sinking after torrential rains

AKIPRESS.COM - A 9-storey apartment building in Parahat-7/4 microdistrict of Ashgabat settled after torrential rains, Chronicles of Turkmenistan reports.
Settlement of foundation occurred because of the increased moisture following the heavy rains, the statement said.
Staying in the house can be dangerous, the rescuers said, but the residents were not provided with temporary shelter by authorities, the report says.
April 18 is also expected to be rainy in Turkmenistan.
