Bishkek, Apr. 18, 2019. / Kabar /. Osh city is ready to welcome tourists and guests from Turkic-speaking countries. This became known during a press conference for journalists before the start of the event "Osh is the cultural capital of the Turkic world."
At the press conference, Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Zhamankulov answered journalists' questions regarding the program of the event. He noted that the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov will take part in the official opening.
Mayor of the city Taalaibek Sarybashov said that the city of Osh is fully ready to welcome tourists and guests from Turkic-speaking countries. "It is a great honor for us that the city of Osh has been declared the capital of the Turkic world. We had a big responsibility to hold the event, and we were preparing day and night: all the venues were prepared, the facades of high-rise residential buildings were updated, the conditions and quality of the services provided were improved," he said.
The event will be sanctified by about 100 foreign and domestic journalists. A press center with all the necessary conditions will be prepared for them.
