Russian sculptor presents Chingiz Aitmatov’s stele to Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian sculptor presented a stele of Chingiz Aitmatov to Bishkek city, public figure Assol Moldokmatova said on April 18. Opening ceremony will be held on April 19 near the Russian Drama Theater named after Chingiz Aitmatov.
The Russian sculptor Ivan Dubrovin made a monument to Suimonkul Chokmorov together with Kyrgyz sculptor.
The author of Aitmatov's stele, which will be installed in Kyrgyzstan, is Almaz Kojogulov from Kyrgyzstan.
The Chingiz Aitmatov's son, Askar Aitmatov thanked Dubrovin.
