Rustam Emomali establishes Tajik Capital City Development Fund

AKIPRESS.COM - Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali endorsed establishing the Tajik Capital City Development Fund.
The Fund will be replenished by payments for permits to construct residential buildings and shops in Dushanbe, Asia-Plus reports.
In February, Tajik parliament passed norms requiring the construction companies to pay fee for per square meter of the building.
The rate of payment set by the government for permit to construct residential buildings and shops in Dushanbe ranges from 165 to 220 somoni per square meter. The received funds will be transferred to a special account that will be opened by the Ministry of Finance.
The federally funded organizations constructing industrial and social facilities as well as tourism infrastructure are exempted from paying this fee.
