Batken customs foils smuggling of 22 tons of accumulators for 960,000 soms

AKIPRESS.COM - The employees of department for the prevention of unlawful trading and violation of the customs rules of Batken customs held the Renault Premium truck belonging to Kyrgyz citizen on April 10 at 22:00 in Batken town, the State Customs Service said. During the inspection of the vehicle, custom officers found accumulators weighing 22 tons in total worth 961,895 soms. They were smuggled from a neighboring state, the statement said.
The materials were sent to prosecutor's office of the Batken region.
