Best journalists of Turkic-speaking countries receive awards in Osh

Osh, Apr. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. An international scientific-practical conference "Ancient Osh - the center of civilizations" took place in the main building of Osh State University yesterday on Apr. 20.
Professors, scientists, historians, local and foreign journalists and international guests of honor from 9 Turkic countries took part in the scientific-practical conference.
The participants of the conference discussed 3 thousand-year history of the formation of the city of Osh, its geographic location, its significance for Turkic-speaking countries and its socio-economic position. Participants also noted that Osh city has a huge potential for development in the field of trade.
At the end of the conference, the ceremony of awarding the best journalists of the Turkic-speaking countries with the TURKSOY press award took place.
