AKIPRESS.COM - Azattyk journalist Adilet Bektursunov and a film crew were summoned to the Batken region department of the State National Security Committee on June 14.
Bektursunov commented on the summons, he said the crew was summoned for filming a military unit with a drone without special permission.
"We had a misunderstanding. We were filming for our Asia 360 project in Aidarken. We launched the drone in the park (located in the city center) to film the view from above. It turned out that a military unit was located next to this park," said the journalist.
He said they "didn't know that," and the drone "didn't warn" them that there was a drone no fly zone.
"The soldiers noticed and asked us to bring the drone down, and took us to the local GKNB office in Batken for us to explain everything. We came, we talked and they let us go," Bektursunov said.
