AKIPRESS.COM - At least 3 Kyrgyz nationals were injured in a gas station explosion in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The explosion occurred in the evening of June 14 near a place of residence of Kyrgyz nationals.
The employees of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan went to the scene. Kyrgyz citizens had various burns.
Kyrgyz diplomats visited a hospitalized citizen U.O. born in 1968, a native of Kara-Suu town of Osh region, who received about 20% of body burns. The person's condition is stable, doctors said.
The second citizen, A.uulu N., born in 2001 in Uzgen district of Osh region also received burns (about 5%), and was sent home after receiving necessary medical care.
The third citizen A.B. born in 1988, a native of Chon-Alai district of Osh region, received burns (about 7%), fled the scene because of his shock, later he contacted employees of the Consulate General and was taken to the hospital with their assistance.
It was also established that as a result of the fire and explosion the cafe rented by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan and the tire repair shop where the citizen of Kyrgyzstan worked were destroyed. They managed to evacuate urgently. The staff of the Consulate General met with them, one of them had his passport destroyed by fire, the Consulate General will take appropriate measures to restore it as soon as possible, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
