Osh governor meets with Chinese ambassador

Osh, Apr. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. Osh Governor Uzarbek Zhylkybaev received on Sunday newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Du Deven.
During the meeting, Zhylkybaev noted that he hopes that Du Deven will raise the level of trade turnover between China and Kyrgyzstan to a high level.
"During your supervision of economic relations at the Chinese Embassy in Russia, the trade turnover between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China increased from $ 20 billion to $ 200 billion. We hope that the level of trade turnover between China and Kyrgyzstan will rise to a high level," he said.
Zhylkybayev plans to visit China in May to improve the trade and economic relations between the two countries.
China's new Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen replaced Xiao Qinghua. From 2004 to 2008, Du Dewen was an adviser to the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation.
