Travel companies from Kyrgyzstan participate in Road Show exhibition in Tashkent

Tashkent, Apr. 25, 2019 / Kabar /. The opening ceremony of the II outbound tourism exhibition Road Show with the participation of more than 60 travel companies from Kyrgyzstan took place in Tashkent on Wednesday.
Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan Ibragim Zhunusov noted in his speech that the main purpose of the event is to promote tourism in Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan, to attract tourists and investments, and to establish contacts between representatives of the tourism business of the two countries.
"Today’s event is a unique opportunity to establish direct contacts with the signing of relevant documents on further cooperation," the ambassador said.
Under the Road Show program, bilateral meetings of representatives of the tourist business of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in B2B format, showing videos about Kyrgyzstan, and the presentation of the tourist potential of the Kyrgyz Republic are held. The event involves major travel companies, tour operators and representatives of the business community of the two countries.
The exhibition was organized by the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan, the Asia Expeditions tourism company, and with the active support of the State Tourism Development Committee of Uzbekistan.
For the first time, a press conference for local and foreign media was held with the participation of representatives of the Department of Tourism at the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, embassies and governors of oblasts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
