Prime Minister to punish officials for sleeping at digitalization meeting with participation of president

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev vowed to punish officials caught falling asleep during the meeting with participation of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov in Osh.
"Tough measures will be taken, it's a shame," PM said. He said a footage should be watched.
President's representative Kurmanbek Dyikanbayev said the footage showed that nobody slept at the meeting. President delivered a speech from 10 to 12 am, people fell asleep after president's speech, he said.
On April 23, social media users in Kyrgyzstan shared the photos of government officials fallen asleep at the meeting on digitization with participation of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov. The sleepy officials were caught on camera during the first telecommunication forum "Digital Kyrgyzstan: Development of Regions" held in Osh on April 22.
