Bishkek, Apr. 25, 2019/ Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan Zheenbek Kulubaev took part in a seminar dedicated to the Manas epic and modern Kyrgyz literature, organized by the International Turkic Academy as part of the international book exhibition in Nur-Sultan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The seminar was attended by writer, playwright, adviser to the head of the President’s Office of Kyrgyzstan Sultan Rayev, President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kadyrali, laureate of the state prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ulukbek Esdauletov, Manas narrator Bayangali Elimzhanov, literary critic Ularbek Nurgalym, translator Sayat Kamshyger, Professor Kadyrali Konkobaev and others.
Within the framework of the seminar, books in Kazakh language "Zhanzhaza" (author Sultan Rayev), "Balalyk kez" (author Ch. Aitmatov), "Modern Kyrgyz poetry", and the epic "Manas" by M. Mergenbaev in Latin were presented.
In his speech, Kulubaev thanked the organizers of the seminar and stressed the importance of holding such seminars for bringing together the cultures of the two peoples. The seminar was held in a lively and warm atmosphere, where participants shared their impressions about the books. Manas narrator Bayangali Elimzhanov narrated an episode from the epic "Manas", which was perceived by the participants of the seminar very emotionally and warmly.
