President Jeenbekov meets with member of Standing Committee of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Wang Huning

Beijing, Apr. 26, 2019 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC Central Committee) Wang Huning in the framework of his working visit to China in Beijing.
Wang Huning thanked Jeenbekov for his contribution to strengthening Kyrgyz-Chinese relations.
"In June 2018, you made a state visit to China and, together with Chairman Xi Jinping, brought our relationship to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership," said Wang Huning. "This is your great merit, and we highly appreciate it."
He thanked Kyrgyzstan for supporting the initiatives of China in the framework of the SCO and on the platform One Belt, One Road.
Jeenbekov expressed his gratitude to the Chinese side for the warm welcome, stressing the high level of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. He said that the event provided an opportunity to meet with Chinese friends.
"We witnessed the excellent speech by Chairman Xi Jinping. The forum is held at a very high level, where heads of several dozens of states participate, and this indicates the great authority of our friends - our strategic partner in the international arena. Last year, China celebrated the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up policy. During these 40 years, the leadership of China, the party and all the Chinese people, with their hard work, have achieved tremendous success in the development of the country. China marks its 70th anniversary this year. Today, China is making a major contribution to ensuring international stability. In Kyrgyzstan, we are sincerely glad of the successes of friendly China," the head of state emphasized.
