Beijing, Apr. 26, 2019/ Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov met in Beijing with Chairman of the Board of CJI, Wang Bin in the framework of his working visit to China, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
"Your corporation is interested in projects in the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan. I am informed that you organized a visit of representatives of several Chinese companies to Kyrgyzstan, who studied cooperation with the Kyrgyz side. We pay great attention to the implementation of agricultural projects, Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting investment in the agricultural sector and is ready to provide the necessary assistance in the implementation of projects," said Jeenbekov, expressing confidence that the company will be able to introduce the latest technologies in the agricultural sector of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"As the leader of one of the regions of Kyrgyzstan, I worked closely with the provinces of China, I know the needs of your country very well, so I can say with confidence that our products, which are environmentally friendly and tasty, will find their place in the markets of China. You will not be mistaken if you cooperate with us," Jeenbekov assured.
Wang Bin, Chairman of the Board of CJI, stressed that the company’s representatives were in Kyrgyzstan several times and they were convinced of the country's attractiveness for projects and investments in agriculture.
CJI is a state-owned company specializing in international engineering, construction, international trade, investment in cities and villages, the provision of consulting services, etc. The company's delegation recently visited Kyrgyzstan several times, the representatives held meetings with the prime minister and the first deputy prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. Negotiations were held with the relevant ministries and departments of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the leadership of Osh oblast.
On October 25, 2018, CJI and the Investments Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the establishment of a Kyrgyz-Chinese agro-industrial park in the Kyrgyz Republic.
