Working visit of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Beijing

Beijing, Apr. 26, 2019/ Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov took part in the opening ceremony of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, China.
During his working visit to the People’s Republic of China, Jeenbekov met with member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Huning and met with leaders of a number of Chinese companies interested in economic and investment cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, he met with Deputy Director of the Historical Research Institute of the Public Academy of Sciences of China Tian Bo, with whom they discussed issues of joint study of archival materials on the history of Kyrgyzstan. At the end of the first day of the working visit to Beijing Sooronbay Jeenbekov, along with the heads of delegations that arrived to the forum attended the reception of Chinese leader Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.
