Ambassador Baktygulova: EXPO-2019 in Beijing to help promote Kyrgyz products in foreign markets

Bishkek, Apr. 28, 2019. / Kabar /. "The site of EXPO-2019 in Beijing will promote awareness and promotion of Kyrgyz products in foreign markets, in particular in the Chinese market," Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to China Kanayim Baktygulova told.
She recalled that Kyrgyzstan was one of the first to support Chinese President Xi Jinping’s initiative One Belt, One Road, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov set a specific task to move to practical steps to implement a number of joint infrastructure projects, including in the field of transport and digital infrastructure.
"At the invitation of President Xi Jinping, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, among 37 heads of state and government, took part in the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, where he delivered a speech and put forward a number of initiatives and proposals. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov took part in the opening ceremony of Expo 2019 on the theme "Green life is a better life," said Baktygulova.
She added that as part of his participation in the opening ceremony of the International Gardening Exhibition, Sooronbay Jeenbekov also get acquainted with the national pavilion of Kyrgyzstan, which features ecological, pure, organic products of our country and national souvenirs.
Expo 2019 has started its work today, Apr. 28 and will finish in October 2019, in Beijing. Participation of 70 countries and 20 international organizations is expected.
According to the organizers, this exhibition will be visited by 16 million people.
