Bishkek, Apr. 29, 2019 / Kabar /. For the first time, Kyrgyz travel companies present the country's capabilities at the largest exhibition of the Middle East - Arabian Travel Market - 2019 (ATM), which runs from Apr. 28 to May 1 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
According to data of the Department of Tourism, 10 leading travel organizations of Kyrgyzstan participate in it. Along with colleagues from 80 countries of the world, including 60 national tourism organizations from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Southern and Central Africa, the USA and Southeast Asia, they talk about the attractive aspects of travel and leisure in the represented country.
More than 2,500 companies took part in the exhibition in 2018, occupying 12 pavilions of the Dubai World Trade Center, making ATM the largest in history.
"This exhibition provides an opportunity to increase the flow of tourists from Arab countries, to enter new markets and to keep abreast of the latest news in the tourism industry. The main target group at the Arabian Travel Market - 2019 exhibition will be representatives of the hotel business, transport companies, hospitality industry specialists, educational institutions, and specialized media," the department said.
Given the increased arrival of tourists from the Arab world, participation in this international exhibition will serve as an excellent opportunity to present the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan to the Persian Gulf and will be an ideal platform for building contacts, new initiatives and projects, attracting potential tourists.
The International Tourism Exhibition Arabian Travel Market (Exhibition of Products & Services related to the Travel Industry) has been held every year since 1994. Today it is the leading trade fair for tourism in the Middle East.
The main thematic sections of the exhibition are the activities of tour operators, sports recreation, Internet travel services, group travel, ecotourism, business travel, air, road, rail, sea transport, airlines, children's and youth recreation, business tourism, education and retraining.
