Modern methods and treatment of infectious diseases discussed in Bishkek

Bishkek, Apr. 30, 2019. / Kabar /. An international conference "Infections associated with the provision of medical care and antimicrobial resistance of microorganisms" was held at Ala-Too International University.
The conference was organized by Ala-Too University and the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The conference was attended by heads of departments, teachers of Kyrgyz Medical Academy, International Higher School of Medicine, practical doctors of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, the National Center of Surgery, the Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantology, the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, the National Center for Phthisiology.
The conference participants discussed topical issues of infectious diseases, including infections associated with the provision of medical care, rational antibiotic therapy, problems of laboratory diagnostics, monitoring and control of microbial resistance to antimicrobials.
Participants het acquainted with modern methods and the possibilities of early diagnostics of bloodstream infections and the detection of microbial resistance to antimicrobials.
The materials on the results of laboratory studies on the diagnosis of infections associated with the provision of medical care, student works on the study of the immune status, carriage of S. aureus among students, and control of the activity of disinfectants were presented to the participants of conference. All the participants noted that the infections associated with the provision of medical care, the spread of sustainability is a global problem that encompasses all aspects of life, and there is a need of teamwork and a national strategy.
