Bishkek, Apr. 30, 2019. / Kabar /. Three-time Asian champion in women's wrestling and famous athlete from Kyrgyzstan Aisuluu Tynybekova intends to devote all her time to preparing for the upcoming XXXII Summer Olympics in 2020 in Tokyo.
In this regard, the athlete and the leadership of the Wrestling Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic met with journalists at Kabar Agency and told about the past Asian Championship in the Chinese city of Xi'an, and also shared their plans for the future.
"We set a goal. I feel a great responsibility towards the country, the people, the coach, the Federation and the Agency. Therefore, after the Olympic Games in London and Rio, we unanimously decided to devote all the time to preparation for the next Games, and I am ready to devote myself completely to sports until their end. I ask you to understand correctly," Tynybekova said.
Explaining her decision not to meet with the press till 2020, the athlete noted that before the Olympic Games, the national team still needs to prepare for the World Cup, and events, in addition to training, are off schedule, so the decision on a time limit in dealing with the press is a necessary step.
In addition, Tynybekova said that for athletes, first of all, it is important to represent their country adequately, and not to receive the promised material rewards and awards.
Aisuluu Tynybekova was born in 1993 in the town of Mailuu-Suu, Jalal-Abad. For the first time she won the Asian wrestling champion in 2016 at competitions in Bangkok (Thailand), and for the second time in 2017 in New Delhi (India). During her career, she won the gold medal of the Games of Islamic Solidarity, the silver medal of the Asian Games in martial arts and indoor competitions, the bronze medal at the World Championships. In 2018, she became the silver medalist of the Asian Games.
