Introduction of visa free regime for Kyrgyz citizens discussed in Qatar

Bishkek, May 3, 2019. / Kabar /. First Deputy Foreign Minister Nuran Niyazaliev met with Major General Saad bin Jassim Al-Hulayfi, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal affairs and General Director of Public Security of the State of Qatar in Doha, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation, including the implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic (March 2018) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (October 2018) to the State of Qatar.
Niyazaliev expressed a request to assist in protecting the rights and interests of compatriots in Doha and the early introduction of visa-free travel for Kyrgyz citizens.
As a result of the meeting the sides reached an agreement to organize mutual visits for deepening cooperation and exchange of experience.
