Education Ministry bans high school graduation parties and collection of money

AKIPRESS.COM - Schools in Kyrgyzstan are banned from collecting money to celebrate the Farewell Bell, the day when high school goers graduate from school, the Education Ministry said.
The Minister signed order banning school principals and teachers to accept gifts and collect money on the occasion of graduation from high schools. Graduation parties were also banned. Defiance will result in harsh punishments, including dismissals, the Ministry warned.
The Farewell Bell is observed nationwide on May 25 annually.
