Amendments made to some legislative acts of Kyrgyz Republic

BIshkek, May 6, 2019. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Introducing Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Export Control", "On Licensing and Permitting System in the Kyrgyz Republic")", his press service reported.
The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on March 14, 2019.
The purpose of the Law is to bring the Kyrgyz export control legislation in line with generally recognized principles and norms of international law in the area of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery, as well as to improve the legal regulation of relations arising between the state authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and participants in foreign economic activities in the implementation of export control.
The law comes into force after six months from the date of signing.
