Uzbekistan, Malaysia to cooperate in training of municipal, public servants

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov held talks with Director of the International Institute of Public Administration Suriana Ahmad in Kuala Lumpur, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The International Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) closely cooperates with the National Administration Agency at the President of Uzbekistan. The Institute has developed one-week project and portfolio management in Malaysia's perspective training program for students of the Business and Administration School. The training will be held in November 2019 in Kuala Lumpur.
Suriana Ahmad suggested to develop short-term training courses for region administration workers. The training will focus on improvement of leadership skills, Malaysian experience in law and banking, skills for negotiations.
INTAN expressed interest in cooperation with the Public Administration Academy of Uzbekistan in exchange of experience, pre- and in-service training of social policy and public administration experts. Signing of a respective document to this end was suggested.
