President Jeenbekov greets participants of SCO Issyk-Kul Marathon

Cholpon-Ata, May 11, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov addressed the participants of the SCO International Issyk-Kul Marathon and wished them good starts and bright victories.
The president’s address before the start was read by First Deputy Chief of the President’s Office Almaz Kenenbayev.
In his address President Jeenbekov said that the marathon is held on the eve of the SCO Summit.
"The strongest representatives of national teams, as well as sports fans, gathered at this wonderful event. Sport unites people and countries and lays the foundations for the development of society. The fact that from year to year the number of countries and participants in this marathon increases is encouraging.
The Kyrgyz Republic actively supports physical culture and sports. In the future, the Issyk-Kul International Marathon will become an annual good tradition and celebration of unity of friendship of the peoples of the SCO member states," says in the address.
President Jeenbekov wished all the participants a successful start, bright victories, strong team spirit and great sport achievements. "
