AKIPRESS.COM - 1.4 million tourists visited Kyrgyzstan in 2018, Deputy Tourism Minister - Director of the Tourism Department Maksat Damir uulu said citing the official statistics.
6.95 million foreigners entered and existed Kyrgyzstan in 2018, he said during the meeting of the parliament committee.
Answering to the MP's question, Maksat Damir uulu said the State Border Service calculates the number of foreigners entering the country.
"The foreigners visiting the country are divided into three categories: tourists, private individual, and person arriving for business or official trip," he explained.
