Sooronbay Jeenbekov receives Minister of Public Security of China Zhao Kezhi

Bishkek, May 14, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received on May 14 Zhao Kezhi, the Minister of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan to attend the meeting of the secretaries of the Security Councils of the SCO member states.
The Kyrgyz leader noted that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to bilateral cooperation with China.
"Kyrgyzstan is always sincerely pleased with the achievements of China. We brought our relations to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership last June. There is complete mutual understanding between us, which allows us to develop fruitful cooperation based on friendship, good neighborliness and mutual trust," the head of state emphasized.
The Minister of Defense of China has visited Kyrgyzstan, the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China is expecting. The most important event will be Xi Jinping’s return visit to Kyrgyzstan, the president said.
Chinese Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi thanked for the warm welcome and noted that Jeenbekov's visit to China and his meetings with Xi Jinping contribute to the deepening of the Kyrgyz-Chinese bilateral cooperation.
"Our countries have reached a strategic level of cooperation, including in the military-technical sphere. We highly value cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and are ready to develop multilateral strategic partnerships in the framework of international agreements. We attach great importance to the efforts of the authorities of Kyrgyzstan to strengthen stability in the country and the region. We also support your efforts to improve well-being in the country and are confident that, under your leadership, Kyrgyzstan will achieve rapid development, "Zhao Kezhi said.
An exchange of views took place on confronting the three forces of evil - terrorism, extremism and separatism, and jointly strengthening security in the region.
