Lawmaker advocates for smoking ad ban

AKIPRESS.COM - Lawmaker Dastan Bekeshev suggested to ban advertising of tobacco smoking in Kyrgyzstan while speaking at the parliament's plenary session on May 15.
The parliament is considering the draft amendments to advertising law.
Bekeshev says the smoking ads are allowed in the stores.
Chief of the State Anti-Monopoly Agency Shuhrat Sabirov said that 47 business entities were warned about inadmissibility of advertising alcohol drinks.
As for the online ads of casinos, he said that he does not know who regulates this matter.
