Bishkek, May 16, 2019. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz veterinary system was recognized equivalent to the veterinary systems of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states during the meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Yerevan (Armenia), Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Kalysbek Zhumakanov told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
Taking into account the information of Kyrgyzstan on the elimination of deficiencies identified as a result of visits of representatives of the authorized bodies of the EAEU member states in the field of veterinary medicine and the EEC to assess (audit) the veterinary control system of the Kyrgyz Republic, it was decided to approve the results of the assessment of the veterinary and sanitary control system of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to implement the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council "On the abolition of veterinary and sanitary control (supervision) on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh part of the state border."
He also said that the recognition of the veterinary control (supervision) system of Kyrgyzstan equivalent to the veterinary control systems of the EAEU member states would allow the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security under the Kyrgyz Government to include Kyrgyz enterprises in the unified Register of enterprises of the EAEU independently, and not with the consent of the authorized body of the EAEU member state where the export is planned.
