The statement said that it's crucial to continue the Open Government process in Kyrgyzstan, the head of secretariat which resigned on May 18.
OSCE said the results achieved so far are positive: for a short period of time, Kyrgyzstan was able to launch the National Forum, create a national plan of action, and achieve international recognition. "It must be admitted that it became possible thanks to the momentum given by the secretariat of the Open Government," the statement said.
"Pierre von Arx thanked [ex-Head of the Open Government Secretariat] Imankadyr Rysaliyev for his readership and launching of the Open Government, and supported the intention to further cooperation with the Secretariat and its future leadership," the statement said.
