President Jeenbekov to take part in OIC Summit in Saudi Arabia

Bishkek, May 21, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov received today Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan Abdurrahman bin Saeed bin Muhammad Al-Juma.
The sides exchanged views on the implementation of projects to provide the country's regions with clean drinking water, construction of new hospitals, schools and kindergartens, the President’s press service reported.
The Ambassador extended an invitation to Jeenbekov on behalf of King of Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to participate in the 14th session of the Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in May 31, 2019, Mecca.
Jeenbekov expressed his gratitude for the invitation and informed about his intention to participate in the 14th session of the Islamic Summit of the OIC.
The Islamic Summit, which is the highest-level decision-making body of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, consists of the Kings, Presidents and Prime Ministers of the Member States. It meets once in every three years in one of the Member States, holds consultations to achieve the goals specified in the OIC Charter.
