President Jeenbekov slams Economy Ministry for inaction

AKIPRESS.COM - Certain ministries and agencies formally treat their task to attract investments, they do not look for solutions and in the result can't accomplish the task, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at the Clean Water for Regions Forum today in Bishkek. "For instance, during my state visit to China in June 2018, the issue was resolved on China's $100 million grant. However, the Economy Ministry has not undertaken any actions to obtain this grant," the President said.
