Government to help migrant workers to improve their financial knowledge

AKIPRESS.COM - The government will carry out a comprehensive work to provide assistance to migrant workers prior to their departure from the country, during stay abroad and will help them improve their financial knowledge, Vice Prime Minister Altinai Omurbekova said at the meeting of the extended public council on migration issues. The main priorities in external migration include informing migrants about the order of stay abroad, development of workforce marketing at international labor market, enhancement of protection of rights and interests of migrant workers and their family members abroad, protection of rights of children of migrants remained without parental custody and strengthening of ties with the diaspora, the Vice Prime Minister said.
Improvement of professional technical education and recognition of qualifications by host countries is another important task alongside development of countries where migrant workers stay, the Vice Prime Minister noted.
Comprehensive addressing of tasks in migration sphere should help a stepwise reduction of outflow of population from the country, Altinai Omurbekova said.
