Cross-border trade zone opens on Uzbek-Afghan border

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan-Afghanistan cross border trade zone has been opened at the Termez Cargo export center in Termez district, Surhandarya region as part of Uzbekistan-Afghanistan business forum, UzA reports.
The trade zone has all conditions necessary for Afghan entrepreneurs: customs terminal, hotel, restaurant, service points. Documents can be obtained using a single window facility.
Last year Surhandarya region received $7.3 million investments from Afghanistan. 14 projects in industry, services and agriculture valued at $30 million will be realized in 2019-2020.
